do props fit?

does an evinrude/OMC prop fit a Mercury? The prop has 15 splines.. I'm talking about props for 200hp motors?

Some of them will.i know my turbo2 will,you may need to add a exra washer.

Johnny-Rude props will fit on a Merc,.......
But,.....
It Won't fit on the Other Way Around,........

Merc.'s Splines aren't as Deep...........

Mark, I have adapted my old Mercruiser Alpha I prop to fit my 150HP V-6 Johnson outboard. I needed to drill out some of the spline, and modify the Merc thrust washer to ride on the Johnson OB prop shaft, in the correct place. I have not tested it under load however, due to the winter.

We run Merc props on E/J's all the time. Shorten the splines in the hub and away ya go!
