I just bought a stern drive bow rider boat and was curious if you all think these annodes are ready to be replaced or if not how much time shoul I wait to replace in this condition?

No, not for me
My guess is your boat stays on the trailer, maybe?

So long as the boat stays on the trailer it doesn't need anodes

Yes and no.
The driving force for corrosion is a potential difference between the different materials at the micro-structure level.

People wrongly assume that "water" must be involved which isn't the case. An electrolyte will accelerate the issue but it is not the root "cause" of the problem

I've had aluminum housings screwed together with SS fasteners turn to a pile of white dust in the presence of a faulty, high voltage (+1000 VDC) ground connection.

Agree, but don't agree that a similar issue will happen on an outdrive

Replacement not needed . Lots of sacrificial metal still present . If you dont like the appearance remove and buff with a wire wheel. reinstall

^^ Don't agree
Thread locker should not be used because, anodes need to make electrical contact to work (even though not needed in this case), and screws have been know to break off with even a small amount of corrosion build up (don't need to possibly make it worst)

Forgive my ignorance on the issue, but I'm new to boating. So as long as there is still plenty of metal on the anode, regardless of how chalky it looks, it's good to still use?
