Re: Do these numbers look correct?

According to the Mercury Parts Express site,

http://www.mercurypartsexpress.com/PartsExpress/ProductSelection/ServiceParts/sphome.asp?CID=

The model number matches the serial number.

The serial numbers from 0E000001 THRU 0E093699, were used from mid 1990 thru 1994. So 1991 is possible.

There were several versions of the some parts on the motors, so they are matched to the serial number, to get the right parts.

http://www.mercruiserparts.com/select_docs3a.asp?doc_nbr=823644

Re: Do these numbers look correct?

Well.. fortunately.. or maybe unfortunately.. the only thing I think I really need is an entirely new tilt/trim setup..

I replaced the wires & relays today.. hoping beyond hope that it would magically work.. but no.. so then I opened up the trim motor and had a look.. not pretty.. I think its rusted up tighter than a $3 horse.. :(

I might be able to get it going by replacing 1 part at a time.. but I think I may just look for an entirely new tilt/trim assembley..

-John
