Do your holiday plans include boating??

I hope everyone will have a happy and safe holiday weekend, and I'm wondering how many people will get out on the water over the next few days while celebrating the holiday.

We wanted to be using our boat by now, but older boats are frequently a work in progress, and with me hospitalized for the last week, these will be very short paychecks for us both. So while we're nearly there, we can't get the boat out on the water as we'd hoped this weekend.

I know much of Florida will be on the east coast at the 2010 Boat Fest- I hope the weather holds up for it!

So where will you be this weekend?? Knee-boarding on the lake, fishing in the inter-coastal waterways, or putting the hours into your restoration labor of love?? Or traveling to visit family, leaving your boat covered??

Well, I finally got my title and registration squared away yesterday, so I don't think I'll be able to resist taking her out for the maiden voyage. We've had terrible weather all spring, but the forecast for the weekend doesn't look too bad. Probably will just be going out for a cruise. Still too cold to wakeboard or tube, but should be great nonetheless.

Yes....but only in the fact I'm going to be working on my project boat. LOL.

Working on mine too. I have procured 1 gallon white and 1 qt navy blue Brightside, 8 Yards navy blue Vinyl, New carpet and a gallon of glue, 2 sheets green treat plywood and 2 new back to back seats.

Still have a little money left and will probably need more vinyl. I bought all the navy blue they had. Would probably buy some gray for the engine cover seats if I need more.
