Lot's of very old glass, (Willy calls 'em rat boats). #1 A 1970 + or - Jolly Roger 16' with a 1979 115. #2 A 1961 Superior Plastics, (built in Bellingham WA) 16' that had a 1968 1250 short shaft, (that my son blew up) n' will be gettin' a 1969 1000 short shaft. I used to have a 14 foot Carlson that really went fast with that motor on it! #3 A 1959 very nice Eastern Washington 18 foot Saber Craft with a pristene 1969 1000 short shaft, (motor looks like new). The old girl is very pretty, with the steering wheel on the wrong side, (as they did in those days). It made me left one hurt to drop her in the salt to hang out in the San Juans but I washed her off real good. It has enough room to sleep in it, (and I would probably haul it to your place if we meet this summer). #4 A 1964 Skagit 14' with a 1989 25 hp Merc. #5 A 14 foot Sea Nymph Aluminum skiff with high sides with a 1996 25 Merc. Goes like a bat outa h***! Various other smaller junk, n' a 1981 115 that I may hang on a 16' sidewinder I have out on RR island for me son, and a 1978 1150 I just got for tearing up a boat for some guy. It had PT on it, (but the motor looks so good I bought a mid section and need a lower unit to make her ready ta go). I have to stop looking at Craigs list! JR

Damn JR, when do you find time just to maintain all of that?... must be nice to be retired. :p

One of these days, right after I kill all of these 'gators, I'm going to finish my restore on a 1972 Larson 15' tri-hull.... got the deck just about ready to be replaced, got all of the materials, and with the help of all of the folks over on the Merc page, that 1976 Merc 800 starts at a touch, and idles at 600 rpm... how it runs remains to be seen.

Hopefully I'll have it in the water this year.. or next... it all depends on those pesky 'gators. :p

ps. at least my 18' canoe is in good shape....

When you post, you say something tarty about the person that posted before you, then the next person will do the same, and so on, and so on.

and that gets Dockside Chat-where? Would you offer these "tarty's" to your dock mate. I don't think so.

No thanks. Done.
