Please Help!
I recently purchased a 1985-1986 Avon Supersport 4.0 with some floorboard problems. I am in the process of making my own floorboard and was wondering if anyone out there has this boat and could give me the dimensions for the front wood floor board. I have the aluminum floor and stringers, but I am afraid of making the wood board too wide.
The front wood floor board that I have seems too narrow and allows for about a 3" gap on both sides of the board. In other words, it doesn't fit all the way into the seams and has way too much flex. The boat buckles at half throttle on a 25 hp.
