I'm looking for the fuel line from the water seperator to carb. I'm working on 1986 260 mercruiser engine with a 4bbl carb. Every where i've looked they only show the fuel line from fuel pump to carb. I need the fuel line that comes from the water seperator that's located in front of the fuel pump to carb.

I damaged mine when replacing the carb. I twisted it while disconnecting it from the carb. I simply replaced it with fuel line hose and some brass fittings from the local automotive parts shop. I haven't had any problems, and I even added an additional in line fuel filter, the type you can see through. You may want to consider that unless you just really want to keep it stock.

I don't think that plastic see-through inline filters are USCG approved. I thought they had to be metal. I could be wrong.

Those see thu glass fuel filters are very prone to leaking and could cause a serious fire hazard. Coast Guard will fine you if they do an vessel inspection.
