Does anyone know how to wire up a VHF

I got this VHF and have no clue how to wire it up! Does anyone know how to hook it up to power?

Ok, I'm afraid to answer this for fear of messing up something.

First I'd say talk to the manufacturer about finding a plug to fit that wire. That being said...

The red is the positive and black negative. If you cut that connector off and just wire it to the battery or to a cig lighter plug it should work just fine. I cannot imagine why a power plug needs 4 wires.

Please hold out on better instructions from more experienced people before taking any steps!

Thanks for the advise I will be calling "president" very soon.

I think the big conecting devise is like a computer connector so

a computer shop is where I will head too first.

If this is a DSC radio the other two wires could be the NEMA connections for a GPS interface. If it's not a DSC radio I don't have a clue.

Did you get a manual with the radio? What is the make and model of the radio?
