Does anyone know what kind of tank this is?

I got this tank with a 56 Johnson 15 hp. But I've been told by a mechanic that it is not an original Johnson fuel tank. What I need for it is the pressure relief valve that sticks up above the right hose which is the fuel line. The threads underneath are brass and the tip of the valve looks like a tire valve stem. It is currently broken off that's why you see a hollow nut. If you can help me with either problem, what kind of tank is it, or where to get that valve from.

Thanks,

I think that is a very early version of an OMC pressure tank, rubio. I also think what is broken off is the thumb pump for priming the carb.

Could be wrong. Maybe someone with greater knowledge of antiques will come along.

You might find someone who recognizes it at www.aomci.org.

Thanks JB, but I do have the valve. It was laying on top of the tank when I got the boat. It looks like the tip of a tire valve stem. I'll give that website a try.
