For a one-armed operator. Only has a loop on one end.

It's not from any Mercruiser that I know.

l’m relieved that no one yet recognizes it as a Mercruiser part, it just appeared seemingly out of nowhere and I was starting to sweat it now that the boat is almost done!

I was thinking the same thing. I have a smaller similar one in my tool box from replacing Poulan cauel lines.

I have the same wire on my outdrive, its a ground wire you attach it to outdrive on top left bolt then other to a nut I n the runner boot if its an inboard
