Hi all,

I am looking at buying my first inflatable and was pretty much set on the Saturn SD365. I think notices they have a "luxury" version called the Azzurro Mare AM365. Does anyone have any experience with these? Are they worth the extra money?
Does the Square style nose have any drawbacks as far as handling and water splash in concerned? What about the rounded tubes?

Azzuro Mare 365 is an air mat sib, it's $ 250 more than same size standard 365 air mat, if you would like to count with a more tough boat go for it, has lot's of improvements that standard one doesn't have. Point, round or square bows are just eyecatching shapes are way high for water at sea level to splash against them, people sometimes think about shapes in terms of cutting water and air too. What cuts water is the lower keel. If that sib will run at 50 knots probably will help cut air better at bow than round or square ones. These last 2 are bow roomier compared to point bows. Not big deal if round or 90? end cones.

It's just an aesthetical eye catching issue, personally like having traditional 90? end cones. You have 2 type of round endings, complete flat lid and 1/2 90? end cone with big round plastic ending as in the Azzurro models.

Some dealers states that sib planes much better and faster and bla, bla, internet written propaganda & sales strategies, if wanting any sib to plane faster just trim engine properly, inflate well sib and move weight towards bow and voila!!
