Does anyone see the problem with these gauges?

I finally got around to installing a pair of Faria cylinder head temperature gauges and, besides the fact that they didn't include connectors for the senders, I noticed a glaring error on the gauges themselves. Anyone else see what it is?

The metric scale is about 20 degrees low. 212F = 100C, not 80C

And one more error the legend says blue is C and white is F, other way around.

What did I win? :watermelon:

Actually as I see it the 80 deg C mark is about midway between 140 F and 220 F. Since 80 C is 182 C that's pretty much on the money.

That's what I was getting at. That sure didn't take long (but I think it stands out a lot better in my photo than when you're squinting at the gauge trying to read it).

I think you're entitled to be the honorary manager of Faria's quality control department for a day.

I know it's nit-picking, but little stuff like that just screams at you that a company doesn't put a lot of care into their products. I can't believe someone at Faria hasn't caught that.

Ditto on the scale colors being reversed. The 80c is not the line corresponding to 220F. 220F is associated with the last long cursor which would be a little over 104c. Putting all those numbers on there would just complicate the dial and make it hard to read.

I looked at the 220/80 line wrong. 60 C and 140F are right on.

Faria is supposed to a quality product. I would call and ask for either new replacements or a rebate.
