I was told by a fellow boater that using 303 Protectant and vinyl cleaner will help protect the the wax, gel coat and seats. Does anyone else use this stuff and thinks that it actually works and is worth the money? It is like $65 a gallon. I have been using it for 1 1/2 years but dont know if it is worth the money. Any thoughts?

You use it and are not sure?

I dunno about on the gelcoat/wax, but it does a great job maintaining suppleness and delaying UV damage in vinyl.

What I was saying is that I am not sure if it works better than some cheaper product like armorall for the cost.

Just do a search, there is a whole bunch of conversations regarding this topic. 303 vs X or whatever.

I think the problem with your statement is that the 303 is spec'd for fabric and using this expensive product on other surfaces is either stupid or ignorant, I don't know which, but I buy it and use it just for the exact purpose and it works great. I would NEVER put armorall on my precious boat fabric that gets the he** beat out of it by the sun.

On this thread here I have a link to a fairly recent review of products and 303 is still tops (for fabrics): http://forums.iboats.com/showthread.php?t=496019&p=3347839&viewfull=1#post3347839

after cleaning the interier a good wipe down with 303 is a must, well worth the money over armor all
