If you have not found the best way to apply zep elsewhere........... just PM me I'll tell you how I did it.
Tried the vaseline treatment last night. I put it on heavy, let it soak in, then took it off. Still needs a little more buffing. Untreated pics are from last night. The shiny ones are from this morning after it sat all night in the driveway. it also brought back the black rubber trim and made it shiny and supple as well. Overall, I'm impressed.

Fast? I spent a little over 4 hours applying it, letting it sit, and then rubbing it off. I did take my time. Wife needed the boat on Saturday, I did this on Thursday and then another hour or so on Friday on parts of the interior.
this works try it, try to clean off the wax, take a jar of vaseline rub it in than i wax over it looks like newGood old Vaseline! It will penetrate, clean, restore, and preserve the old finish, & color back to like new. Just apply (I use my bare hand), let DRY (in the heat, or sun), then wipe off the excess, with the dirt, & grime. It may take a few coats, & some time, but you'll be amazed! No rubbing, no polishing needed. Once fully restored, & Dry, you can just leave it, (it lasts a few yrs), or wax, or polish over it with whatever you want to preserve it even further!
