Does my engine have a water seperator filter?

I was told my engine has a water seperator filter underneath the cowl. The only filter I am aware of is the small ,in line plastic cylinder shaped one coming from the fuel pump. Can anyone confirm by my model/serial number that I do in fact have a water seperator as well , and where do I find it?

You will not have a Fuel/Water separator filter unless you or someone else installed it. It would not be located under the hood...

Thanks for clearing that up. On the subject of fuel , I was going through some old reciepts last night { from the previous owners records} and I noticed one from a marina that installed an "MTBE Upgrade kit" .....what is this?
