Does my lund fisherman have a second fuel pickup on tank

I am wanting to add a kicker motor to my 2002 lund 1700 fisherman. In reading posts it seems that if my boat has a second pickup on the fuel tank this is the preferred method of providing fuel to the kicker. So this leads to several questions.

Does my lund have the second pickup?

If it does I am assuming I would need to pull up the flooring and is it worth the effort?

If I need to pull up the flooring how is that best done

I've seen many boats with a simple "t" to provide fuel for a kicker,............

If you have a water separator fuel filter just hook your kicker up to that, most have two fuel outlets. If you don't have one, get one and don't bother looking for a separate pickup on your built in tank. Not worth the extra work and parts IMHO

I like the idea of not pulling up the floor. If my boat has a fuel/water separator it is not visible, so I am guessing I would need one and then mount it near where the fuel line from the tank comes out of the hull. I believe I need squeeze balls with one way values between the fuel/water separator and each motor correct? What type of mtce or upkeep is required when using he fuel/water separator. Thanks.

Is electric start on kicker motor worth the extra expense

Shopping for a new kicker motor. I have never used or owned one. Since I am not getting any younger I am wondering if I should equip with electric start which will cost me and extra $150+. Plan to use kicker to troll for trout and salmon. One factor is how often I would need to pull the rope? Do folks just put the kicker into neutral when they want to stop moving or is it best to shut off the motor. Any advice based upon your experience would be most helpful.

In my opinion electric start and power trim and tilt are very nice to have on a kicker,...

The only time forward progress is stopped is if all lines are cleared,......

Don't stop moving if you have lines out, You'll find all kinds of new and crazy ways to tangle things up if you do,..........

Is the Main motor a four stroke? or 2 stroke oil injected? the kicker Has to be a four stroke or oil injected kicker, to use the main tank.?? Teed off.

best kicker is the merc 9.9 pro-kicker, its a four stroke, with pwr trim and tilt and I really like the electronic speed control. I have to use a separate tank for the kicker cause my main is a two stroke. But 3 gal lasts forever.

To answer your original question. I doubt your fuel tank has two separate outlets.

However, a great answer was delivered:

-install a fuel/water separator. Most of those have two inlet and outlet ports. You can install a valve after the filter.

I also agree with the Merc. 9.9. Great features.

been thinkin on this... I think maybe you just need a quick disconnect on the boat and two squeeze bulb hose assemblies, one for each motor...
Simply switch to the hose for the motor you're running at the boat end and leave em hooked up to the motors

That's an interesting thought about using a quick disconnect coming from the fuel tank. Would that introduce the risk of an air leak in the fuel line? Suggestions on where to find a quick disconnect that I could attach directly to my fuel line. Thanks to all who have responded. I appreciate the help. This has given me some good ideas. Lots of options that are alternatives to pulling up the floor and looking for a second fuel pickup.

I would want them to both be hooked up all the time,..............

I would not like having to switch the lines,........

There are time when trolling when we also fire up the big motor to move down the line a little faster,........
