I finally installed the outboard (Yamaha 90) on my restoration project. After I installed the controls, gauges, and battery; I tested the trim and tilt. I turned on the key and hit the switch and it worked just fine. After I tuned off the key off it hit the switch again and it still worked. My question is, does the tilt/trim always have power running to it?

simple answer :yes. That way when you are tilting your motor to put on the transom saver or what ever, you can say use the tilt switch on the motor without having to turn the key on.
