Hi everyone,
I just wanted to ask you guys for some quick help. I had my Four Winns fling in storage for 5 years. i recently rebuilt the carbs and installed new hoses. she started right up but i believe the timing is off on the Johnson/Evinrude 115 engine.
I believe the timing is off because last time i used it the timing cam roller fell out and we poped it back in, But not before we messed with one of the screws since we thought it was an idle setting.
well we stated the boat up today and she idles fine but the engine surges and shakes at higher rpms.
I attached a video just so you can hear what she sounds like at low and high rpms.
If it isn't a timing issue then does anyone have an idea of what could be causing this?
Thanks in advance,
