Dog ramp/ladder

Does anyone have any advice/suggestions on dog ramps or ladders for use on a boat? I thought I remember seeing reasonably priced inflatable ramps you could tie onto the back of the boat but I'm having a hard time finding what I remembered now. There's a couple options I've seen but they're either really expensive (>$200) or seem to be designed for use in a pool where you can anchor them to the pool deck. We have a Springer Spaniel that we like taking on the boat but she panics when she can't get out of the water. We have a life vest for her with a handle on the back but it's tough hauling out a paniced 45 lb dog from the water like a piece of luggage.
