I'm in the dog house now. Milady was wrapping a box for Christmas, and cut the paper a little too small. Being of superior intellect, and with engineering training to boot, I told her how to do the job right.

She got on her menstrual cycle and ran right over my A**.

"The Dog House" subject came up several months ago, brought up by my wife. Don't remember what brought it up, but it was good natured; and she told me "The boat is Your Doghouse"... Instantly thought...YES!!!... I simply said OK; while thinking... Are you kidding, this is good.

OK, someone go off and figure out where the phrase " in the dog house" came from. Did wife's actually put guys into them (and where did the dog sleep?).

Silly question! The dog slept in the bedroom of course!

And Veritas, I am sure you misunderstood your wife. The boat would be your "dog house" only when it is on the trailer in the back yard when the water is frozen and there is snow on the ground.

Guess you didn't notice my location. The lakes don't freeze down here, and on the very rare occasion it snows (about once every 7 years), it doesn't stick for long. In warm weather, all I'd have to do is say, "OK, let's get the kids ready, and you can join us."
...Right back in her good graces. She loves the boat!!!
