Yup all you bargain hunters with dead batterys rejoice!!!
I found a 12 volt map light and hacked it into a nifty anchorlight
Just took it apart. there were little tiny wires with a resister on one of them.
unscrewed my anchor light lens drilled a small hole inserted the flexable end in and hooked it up to a toggle. presto!
tried it out last night and looks just a bright as all the other boats with leds
Still have the original bulb in there for backup too
The map light is great as well it lights up the floor so I dont trip on the dog!!
