The other day, I cant find it now, someone ask about an unusual noise coming from the trim area of there Merc while trimming up or down. Someone answered and said that you had to put a little grease on the ends of the rams! Hey, I had the same problem but kept forgetting to ask about it here, but I put a dab of grease on those puppies and its quieter than a church mouse. :D :D

Sometimes its the dumbest little things. It sounded so bad sometimes I thought it might be freezing up.

I had a Toyota 4X4 pickup one time that had the worst sound when you would crank the wheel to one side and hit a bump it would send ya through the roof. Same kinda thing, just a little grease on the stops and all was good.

Amyway, thanks again.

Send me $20.00 and Ill tell ya!

No, just foolin with ya.

Look under the front end and you will see the stops, If I remember right, they are on the back sides of the lower control arms. When they are new, there are little plastic caps on the spindle side, but they soon go away. Just put a small dab of a heavy Moly (Black) grease on the shiny spot. Actually it will last about as long as between oil changes. Just do it as part of the oil change.

Remember that dust on the grease will form a grinding paste so dont forget to clean often and recrease only when necessary.
