I've enjoyed the posts on depth/fish finders and I've written down some notes from your posts...but...<br /><br />Could anyone give me their .02 on a depth/fish finder for:<br /><br />17' flatbottom boat that will never go over 35mph (if that makes a difference?) always fresh water, lakes usually, rivers sometimes.<br /><br />What am I after in one of these? #1) WARNING for shallow water #2) be kind of cool to actually have a "fish" finder. <br /><br />I don't need the best "fish" finder in the world, but it would be nice to have one that was beneficial instead of a decoration.<br /><br />Having said all that, the easier to use, and lowest price that will produce what I'm after, well, I'd be tickled! <br /><br />THANKS GUYS!
