Dont people know its boating season!

It seems around this time of the year every year, people are trying to pull me away from the boat! i try to convince the "pullers" that unless its raining noooo other activities should take place in the summer,,,, especially the second half!
this is quite frankly my Disney world!!!!! they may join me if they wish, but for the love of God, wana see me, come on down to the marina! I'll be happy to do whatever, as long as i can get there by boat,,, the winter is land lubber time! lol

Could not agree more.


I live on a houseboat in the (very short) summer, and was enjoying a day of swimming and lounging around in the hammock chair one hot afternoon last year, when a couple friends called and asked me if I wanted to go with them 50 minutes down the road to go swimming in a stream.

Asked them, "You know there's a lake right here, 5 minutes from your house, right? And that I have a boat on that lake, right?"

I opted for the hammock chair over 50 minutes stuffed in a hot car.
