a friend of mine has had the boat for years without any problems, and for some reason the other day it would only go about 50 to 100 feet an shut right down, he thought it was running out of gas, yet the gas gauge said 3/4 full, but always restarted right back up, and then just shut down again, it did that maybe 10 times, then all of a sudden it wouldn't turn over at all, we were just about to get towed when he tried pushing that button, and after he did the boat started right up and ran fine all the way back
