Doral Prestencia ?

Hi All;

Sorry if this appears as a double post, my last one got lost in the ether.....

My friend bought a 30 ft Prestencia this past summer, he was told it is an 1989.

We are trying to confirm that but cannot find the serial number, we thought these were imprinted on the transom, a search reveals no number.

Can anyone help out with this?

Stern starboard side usually. I could however be wrong with this model though.
Hopefully a Prestancia owner will see this and help out for sure.

I have a 90, i have found 3 locations on mine. Stern Starboad stamped in the hull, stern side of swim platform and in the aft cabin under cushions on port side I have seen it stamped in next to the wall on the fiberglass frame for the seats.

Thanks for the previous welcome to I-Boats, I had spent a number of yeas running my own fibreglass/Awlgrip paint shop, so perhaps i'll have a chance to contribute, rather than just ask questions.....I'd have to say i'm more familiar with "rag bags" than "stinkpots"

Thank to the two folks that have replied, #not on the transom or sides of hull, we will look in the aft cabin....

check higher up on the transom, left side of the walkthrough.

Thanks again, I found the serial number today, it was looking me right in the face "higher up on the transom" just like the man said

The number is ZD8A1748D989

I think i copied this correctly, can anyone translate it for me, i've been on this site but still cant't figure it out

i think it should be
ZDB (not 8)

which is:
DORAL BOATS LTD

89 = Model year
