I'll start a new post because it's a little off topic... what's your favorite site for file sharing? I use winmx, it's as good or better than napster was.

Kazaa even gives you a sh|t load of adware and other 'behaviour spy' stuff.<br /><br />Go for it and loose control over your pc and the info it leaves about you in cyberspace.

HiUU<br /><br />Not that big of deal IMO and it seems everybody is doing it at some level.<br /><br />Using AdAware, a popup killer and a good anti-virus program, makes it a non-issue for me.<br /><br />I have been using since before it broke away from Morpheus, with no problems.<br /><br />Marty

Agree - you can live with it. My issue is that the puter is used also for some workrelated stuff which is covered by quite restrictive confidentiality claims and even though you think you're in control you never can be 100% certain.<br /><br />I do have one pc for such use, sitting on the outside of my firewall, and it is used for nothing but fooling around on the web, ICQ, WinMX, various trial software etc. A software firewall on this machine logs all access attempts on all ports + all in- and outgoing communication - also if initiated from outside - and man, does this log grow..
