Drain Points, Merc 5.7LX

I was reading the post on Warm Days, freezing nights, I have a similar situation. I can't find the drain points for my cooling system.

How many drain points should I have and where are they?

1997 Merc 5.7LX, Alpha One, seawater cooling

They are in the exact same places as the 4.3 on the other thread.

bottom of each exhaust manifold(2 total)
side of the block, above the oil filter location
side of the block, above and forward of the starter

You can also seperate the water intake hose from the PS cooler to drain that line.

Ayuh,......

And, removing the Big Hose from the engines Circulating Pump will drain that as well.....

And on my '97 there is one in the inlet feed line at the low point, by the engine motor mount.

Its just a pipe that connects the two hoses and has a drain on it. I believe it is the same place that FI engines have fuel cooler.
