Forgive me if this has been covered before, i tried to search for it but couldn't find it. I have just purchased a 1990 Bayliner Capri Olympic Edition with a 120hp U.S. Marine Force Outboard. I am trying to figure out how I can drain and clean the gas tank. The boat has been sitting for 7 years and I don't want to risk trying to fire it up before a complete tune-up has been done. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,

Dan

Un hook the gas line and start squeezing the ball and try to get it in a bucket.Add extra hose.
You won't get it all but 98% will come out.
DON"T use any kind of vacuum unless you fill the tank with dawn soap and water first.
The fuel sending unit hole is a good place to inspect your work.
If it sat that long you will probably have gunk in the bottom.
Make sure you install a good fuel/water separator when your done.J

You'll have to remove your carbs and clean them.
