Update - I've removed the prop shaft seals and the drive shaft seals.

I ordered the gearcase seal kit & the water pump seal kit, I'm going to replace all the seals, if it leaks after that I'm throwing it off a cliff :).

I replaced the prop shaft seals, the drive shaft seals, replaced the water pump, ran the boat for two days straight and the gearcase oil looks like new! YES!

Now it's onto the thermostat, I broke off one of the screws that holds the cylinder head plate on, luckily there was enough sticking out that I got the rest of it off using vice-grips. I think it's the original thermostat in the engine that I'm replacing. I think it's bad because the motor starts to pee as soon as I start it up?

Thanks for all the help, I'm learning a lot about my outboard the more I tear it apart.
