drive noise? how much is too much?

When I'm running at or near idle speed I can hear my drive working. It's not making any strange noises but I can definitely hear all that metal spinning. Is this normal?

If your talking about a "whining" sound, yes. But if your hear "chunk" sounds, no.

Exhaust noise? Hell...I have to listen closely to know it's running at idle.

Fluid levels are good all around...no milky drive fluid. To me it just sounds like 19 year old gears. No clunks, no grinds, no whines...not a single luxury...
