I have it hanging upside down now, been there for around 4 days, full of the Blaster, break fluid and probably anything else you can think of that is supposed to break things free...it's still hanging there, we have hit it with the air impact hammer, a 4x4 block laying on it and a bunch of slams with a large hammer, shaking, pulling, vibrating just is not doing it. I'm thinking it is twisted in there...it's not coming out lol. Time to look at tearing it down and seeing the real problem. Maybe looking at another motor...

Finally got it out! Me and my father in law made a "Drive Shaft Puller" which pulled the shaft right out. Once it was out we found out why it was stuck. It looked like it had never been out since it was put there in 1976...RUST...its out though and now to put it back together and get it on the boat, I'm happy :)

And don't forget the O-ring at the top of the driveshaft to keep water from creeping up into the crank.
