Drive shaft yoke replacement

Mercruiser 350 Mag, Alpha 1. I am getting ready to replace my yoke because the seal keeps failing. Will I need to have the drive gear assembly re-shimmed?

Not reshimmed, but you will need to verify the rolling torque for the exact type bearing setup you have.

Thanks, as always, Don. One more question. If I don't disassemble the bearings, how will I know whether or not my assembly has the small spacer or not. Should I be able to see it?
