Im gonna start this thread about asking where I can find livewell replacements since mine are cracked on the bottom, But then I may just end up turning this into a "howto" build your own since I cant find any on google search or here....

How large are we talking here? I don't know if I have ever seen drop-in replacements. Is it possible to remove yours and replace? Otherwise, how about the inside of an old cooler? Do you have any pics?

That one middle comparment

the two middle compartments are my livewell areas

and it is possible to remove the old ones, now that i have the top cap off they just pop off and seem to be made of similar material as a cooler liner, only black.

If you can't find a replacement livewell, then as I said earlier, you may try a cooler.

You may also see if one of those rubbermaid type totes would work or perhaps one of those black storage boxes that they sell at Lowes or HD. I actually thought of getting two of the black storage boxes and mounting them as bow seats on my boat. They are made of heavy roto-moulded plastic and have hinged lids with snap-down handles. You can sit/stand on them with no harm.

I found a 19 gallon plastic gas tank in Cabelas bargain cave for $50. Cut a hole in the top and works like a champ.

Any plastic places near you? We have one up north, they build oilfield containment tubs, but can do pretty much anything..

water test, no leaks, ready to install. Also used a brace in the top middle of the box, 1x2.5 piece of wood slotted down the middle will also double for a plexiglass insert to make 2 tanks for tournament fishing

Every live well I've ever dealt with are custom molded to each boat. The one you're making is really big but fine. Where is the viewing window going?
