I had made an earlier post regarding the number of winds a drum / cable steering system should have and how much "free-play" to allow, not "foreplay" guys...so don't get nervous (or excited)... sorry had to do that
.
This was answered much thx now new question on the same issue the drum is a cylinder with three ridges and two holes.
Basically: | | | O
| o | o |==========O Wheel Left | | | Right O
It is an outer ridge, a middle ridge and another outer ridge (other side). In the middle of the areas between the two outer ridges (in the drum) there are 2 holes .how do you thread the cable through these holes do you thread down through or up and through or do you overlap and not run the cable through the holes when I do run them through the holes, cable up and through, the cable protrudes making a smooth wind impossible any advice thank you much guys (and gals)..hopefully the pun was not offensive...THX
