Someone had to start it<br />'Bout 15 years ago I had 1 15' trihull that ended uo on a tandem axle trailer. I had it sold and decided to be a nice guy and out in all new fule lines. The boat was at the top of my very steep 250 ft long driveway, trailer chocked. I was working away and dropped a screwdriver in the bilge. Crawled down there to get it and "the earth moved" Stuck my head up over the gunnel and Oh ___T we are rolling down the driveway. I threw my not unconsequential weight against the side of the boat hoping to steer it elsewhere. Yup, now it's going down the yard, which is steeper than the driveway. This is really going to suck! I bailed out and dislocated my shoulder when I landed. The boat went stern first down to the lowest part of the yard, the motor dug in and the boat was, as they say in the good book, split asunder. Pushed the motor up between the seats. Boat split in half. Motor lower unit split. Trailer still OK... Hello Prudential? The insurance guy about peed his pants when he came to take the pictures. OK, who's next???
