DT30 Link Arm Assembely

Ok, so i bought the mother of all motors as impossible to find parts for...1985 suzuki DT30 - I ordered a link arm ..steering is teleflex manual coming thru support tube..link sent is only 11 inches long..after measuring i found i need 16" trying to find a website with lengths is IMPOSSIBLE. Anyone know where i can go..???

The best place to go to get a part number is the Suzuki corp headquarters in California. Dont have the phone number handy but you can google it. The distributors don't have a good handle on these odd parts, I have found. Might call Brownspoint, they may be able to help.

I found the suzuki part #...only,no one has any,So what i was hoping was to find another link arm 16" in length that will work,theirs not alot of difference in these things.

As you can't find one I would consider inserting a piece into the one you have. They are stainless so you would be best served by taking a piece from another link and having it welded in.

James, Great minds think alike, was gonna drop it off today.weld a 4" extension,cost $25.00 clams, got a e-mail from Suzuki,can get original 4-weeks...cost $145.00. that's crazy. Thanks.
