Re: dual line hose

It is available at my local dealership. I have heard some people say the quality is not great. You could go with two single lines. The connectors are not hard to rebuild if you have the old one. Just get the correct Orings- from the dealer, remove the hose pins from the connector, and then use a narrow punch that fits into the hole and tap the brass fittings into an appropriate sized socket.

don't screw it up. i've seen many over the year ruined trying to alter them. i have a '55 15 hp evinrude, the same engine only a different color. idles all day and then will run like a scared cat. maxrules.com and sea-way marine has the hose. the hose end that goes into the motor is #301823 sea-way marine carries them. also get an impeller as this motor has sat so long it will disintergrate on starting. you have one of the finest and most reliable motors ever made. go to the engine faq section and take to heart "awakening a sleeping outboard". most parts are available may with the number up dated. glad to here another is coming out of moth balls. good luck and keep me posted.

i hope you have the tank. i found one this week in the trash complete except for a bad hose. cut the hose off keep the fittings. puor some gas in it and push the button and surprize it still pumped. not rebuild. i had been wanting a second tank for long weekends. if you don't have the tank youcan find them on ebay complete for $50 - $100.

Additionally, there are ways to install a fuel pump, but you'll probably have to get another tank. I'm not sure that a 2-line pressure tank can be adapted.
