Dumb ? 94 Johnson- VRO or not?

Bought a used 94 200 hp Ocean runner. Never had a Johnson, only Yamaha, last one had VRO but a resevoir tank attached to the motor. I don't see one on the Johnson, but it could be remote?

How do I tell if I have it or not? I"d like to not have it or disable it if I do.

It is oil injected (VRO) unless someone disconnected it. It is a remote tank with a line that looks a lot like fuel line, with a bulb near the tank.

Thanks, now I"m concerned, motor was bought used, no tank mentioned, and none recieved. I'll have to look into the seloc book somemore and make sure I'm connecting the gas line to the right place and have to figure out how to disable the VRO system also.
SOme simple questions are hard to answer for me.

The VRO oil line should go into the engine compartment adjacent to the gas line,if so equipped.

Why disable it? VRO works great!

For one thing I'dhave to buy a resevoir tank and otehr gear, figure out where to mount and so on.

When its so easy to mix oil and gas while filling. Been doing it that way for years with no issues. And one less thing to go wrong.

Send me your e-mail address via private message. I have a complete VRO tank, hose, bulb and mounting brackets. I'll make you a deal you can't refuse. Before you get to involved with this, you should look at the engine and see if the original vro pump is in place or whether it's been replaced with a fuel only pump. You'll need someone with experience or some pictures to help you determine this.
