Saw a trailer with these on the other day I'd never seen them before, so I checked out their website Their a local Aussie invention, apparently you just change the oil once a year, no grease, this fella reckons hes been running them for five years hasn't even had to check his bearings just change the oil.

yeah, it's an oil bath hub. but you still have to service, the oil seal goes, and all the lube is gone at once. rather than the lingering grease.

Yea thats the only thing i'd be worried about if the seal goes your stuffed, they look like quality gear though, and no more messy repacking.

I read recently that this product is best applied to a trailer that gets towed often. If the trailer is parked for extended periods, some people believe that you could encounter problems with rust on the spindles and bearings. It is a reasonable conclusion that the seals may dry out also. On a positive note, visual inspection of the oil level reduces the risk of under-lubrication and would probably show water if the seals began to leak. As with many products, product performance can be limited or enhanced by proper application.
