Hi,

I have to admit to having aluminitis. I bought an old airstream trailer and restored it to it's former glory and now I have my eye on an old Duratech.

Prior to today I've been a wooden boat guy (I once had a beauty of a Lyman Lapstrake...stolen from me though).

Any idea on what model this is..a Sealine perhaps?

At $500 with no trailer I think it is reasonable but I have really no feel for the market or value...or if it leaks.

I'll keep you posted.

Nice project boat. Price seems high to me, just my opinion.

Look at the gallery pics at www.duratechboats.com There are several of this model in the gallery. This is a Sealine Runabout Deluxe, and it's a 1957 model. Tough as nails, a great riding hull, lots of potential.

I would agree that a boat without trailer or motor and in condition needing TLC is something you should expect to pay less than $500 for. I would say $300 is more reasonable...you can tell'em the owner of the Duratech site says so as well.
