i mixed up a special formula to desalt some motor parts , after a few days i found that the copper tube on the exhaust housing i had in with all the parts , the parts turned out with a copper finish on them , i tried scotch brite pot scrubbing pads to get it off , it does not come off , so iam gonna mix my formula a little bit stronger , then gona get more copper & put it in with my parts , because the aluminum comes out with a copper finish to it , maybe this will solve the corrosion that takes place with sea water & aluminum who knows have a look . note where the grommet is how shineing the copper finish it left , because that area was very clean before i put it into my special formula
