E-tec 225HO vs Yamaha F225 four stroke

I am looking at buyinig a new boat and have two picked out but unsure on the motors. One has a 2007 E-TEC HO and the other has a 2009 Yamaha F225 four stroke. Both have around 110 hours on them and warranty remaining. Any help on which one would be the better motor.

I would go with the F225 just because it's a very popular motor and I'm familiar with them.

Nothing wrong with the E-Tec, but service can be an issue if you don?t have any local dealers.

Go around and find the best local marine service department in your area. Find out what they service, and there is your anwser. Thats all you need to know with modern outboards.
