ETEC oil consumption is fairly low specially if you run on XD-100 setting
if your engine heats up due to low oiling it will tell you very quickly and go into SAFE more with max rpm around 1200.
my 75hp ETEC with about 400 hrs after 20 years as yet to consume my 2nd gal. of XD-100 oil.

Oil Injection Ratio (Used with XD100 oil only) Evinrude E-TEC outboards can be programmed to run a reduced oiling rate. This feature should only be used with Evinrude/Johnson XD100 oil.
consumption is EMM regulated and speed related so if you mostly troll vs high speed it will consume less. ETECs
DO NOT MIX oil in the fuel lie old OBs...oil is directly injected inside crankcase.
download one or both these manual check your PM and if you plan servicing this wonderfull engine you get the EV diagnostic software to know exactly how your EMM is doing or not doing. my 2005 75hp has been near flawless in 20 years but... i pamper it
