2007 75 E-tec. Came with a Sierra Fuel/Water separator. Cant find the replacement locally, so i'm looking for a different brand (NAPA, Quicksilver, Whatever). Any suggestions? I know that it has to be able to flow properly i.e. proper micron rating in the media. The old one is 21 microns.

Re: E-tec 75...Water Separator Fuel Filter

If your spin-on filter has about a 5/8" or 11/16" threaded hole in the middle, then it is an industry standard filter used by Merc and Yamaha and available at any dealership, marine store, most Walmarts, and at knowledgeable auto supply stores. If it has a 1" threaded hole, then its the OMC/BRP style.

Here is a link to fuel filters and how they work.
