Hello guys...
This winter I repowered from to a 2014 e-tec 60HP. The previous motor was a 1977 Johnson 85 so the technology bump to this new motor is pretty amazing. I'm a computer programmer guy by trade & hobby, and have already connected via the diag serial port with the EV software (which is also pretty damn cool).
So the question is this - I'd like to look at the operating data on the port (such as temperatures, pressures, etc) with the thought of possibly building a microcontroller based data monitor. I am aware there are icommand gauges that do this but I'd like to play around with the protocols. Has anyone here figured out any of the data protocols either on the diag port or icommand? I haven't found anything on searches here or the net. Just thought I'd ask before reinventing the wheel.
