has anyone out there ever had to bleed the surge brakes on a tandem e-z loader? I recently replaced the brake-away cable, had to take coupler apart to get access. Now I've put back together and need to refill resivor and bleed lines.I'm not sure how to go about getting bubbles out of lines.Anyone ever have to do this?

Which coupler is on your trailer? I have always put some sort of pipe or vise grip on the breal away lever and have some one actuate that as I ope the bleeder at each wheel. You may need to take off the hardware that keeps the break away lever from returning to the neutral position and then put ti back on after you are done.

You may also want to try the vacuum pressure bleeders that you put at the bleeder nipple itself.

You can also use a pressure type of bleeder that adapts to the master cylinder and forces brake fluid thoughout the system and out any opened bleeder screw.
In a pinch I've even used a basketball pump and needle soldered in a spare master cylinder cap. Have to check the fluid level and refill after every wheel though.
