Hello,
I am replacing a carb body on my 94 E120TLERC and noticed that the new replacement (part # 0436950) was missing a large brass tube. If you are looking at the face of the carb body the air jets are off to the left and directly below the throat there is a big brass tube (I assume high speed air). My old carb has one and new carb is missing the tube. There is just a hole in the plastic. Do I need to transfer this brass tube from the old carb to the new carb? Is it pressed in? How do I remove it without damaging the old carb or the brass tube?
I looked on the part diagram and there is no part # or identification of this brass tube which makes me think it should be part of the carb body...Evinrude says it is not.
Any help is appreciated.
