Im helping a buddy work on his 1984 70 hp evinrude motor , 0313537 , and the first thing i noticed is that his fuel lines to and from the fuel pump and carbs are very brittle and leaking. we ripped off the fuel lines and headed for the local auto parts store to get some "T" adapters and hose clamps so we could set up the fuel lines like they should be. Silly me for thinking things were like they were in the old days , of course they did not have any "T" splitters for the fuel lines and did not have the right size hose either. I told my buddy, don't fret, we will go home and look at Evinrude's parts online and order everything. well that didn't work either, none of the hoses were available to order and the one of the little splitters was priced at $14.00 !!! so now i am here asking for help ! can anyone tell me exactly what size fuel lines were under the engine cover from the factory and/or what size the "T" splitters are from the factory and where i may be able to buy cheaper "T" connectors?
