Eagle Cuda 168 transducer wire

I have a Eagle Cuda 168 that I purchased used from a freaind.He cut the transducer wire near the back of the unit to take it out of his boat.I went to slice the wire back together and it doesnt look like a normal transducer wire I am used to.The ones I have spliced before had a core wire and a sheild.This one has a sheild and 4 small wires inside and a ground outside.Well the white wire came out of the cover on the plug side.Is this wire necessary for this unit?Can I purchase a new plug somewhere so I can repair it? Thanks
